All names: Completely erase
All addresses: Completely erase
Solicitors details: Completely erase
Court details: Completely erase
Dates: Erase day and month, leave year visible
Company name: Describe as “Business”
Job title: Describe as role.

How we will complete the anonymisation.

In your profile all figures will be rounded so if your personal savings as per your Form E were £23,762.00 this will be rounded to the nearest £1,000.

Before your profile goes “live” we will ensure your documents have been fully anonymised correctly. We will also “blur” some of your data. This could be done by adding or subtracting 1 year from all dates and ages in your documents.

The GDPR does not apply to personal data that has been anonymised. Recital 26 explains that:

Not Applicable to Anonymous Data.
The principles of data protection should therefore not apply to anonymous information, namely information which does not relate to an identified or identifiable natural person or to personal data rendered anonymous in such a manner that the data subject is not or no longer identifiable.

Consent not required for disclosure of fully anonymised personal data, ICO says:

“However, it said consent is not required if “the anonymisation will be done effectively, with due regard to any privacy risk posed to individuals.”
